How D.O.S.E. Works
Movement releases the happy hormones (D.O.S.E. – Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins).
These chemicals are produced by the body to relieve stress and pain. They work similarly to painkillers. Endorphins change our perception of pain and trigger a positive feeling in your body which is why people get “The Runner’s High” after exercise. This is REAL SCIENCE.
Movement is a great way to meditate, focussing on how your mind and body are working in union is such a great feeling.
